An exciting opportunity is currently available for a permanent part time Site Coordinator within the education and Learning Nursing team at Western Health.  This position offers the opportunity to develop leadership and management skills as it involves leading a team of Clinical Nurse Educators and Clinical Support Nurses.

The role is integral in creating a positive workplace environment that is supportive and proactive.

In collaboration with other WH Site Coordinators, the position requires the ability to develop, implement, assess and evaluate current educational content and programs.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Current APRHA Registered Nurse registration
  • Successful completion of a Graduate Certificate or equivalent in nursing or with an educational focus
  • Hold or working towards a Masters in Nursing with an educational focus
  • A minimum of 5 years clinical experience
  • A munimum of 2 years of educational experience including experience in the development, implementation, assessment and evaluation of educational programs
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate team outcomes
  • Demonstrate interpersonal and leadership skills including probelm-solving, conflict resolution, negotiation and teaching
  • Demonstrated understanding of contemporary professional, educational and clinical issues
