Embedded Practioner - Mental Health and Wellbeing Act 2022 (Project Officer)
Latrobe Regional Hospital have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Senior Clinican (RPN 5, OT4, SW4 or P4) to join the Education and Training Unit on a Fixed term, Full time position for 18 months Basis.
Reporting Operationally to the Manager of the Education and Training Unit & Professionally to the Psychiatric Nurse Consultant/Executive Director Mental Health/Chief Mental Health Nurse this role plays an important role in leading the development of a highly skilled workforce and assist Latrobe Regional Hospital to tranisition to the new Mental Health and Wellbeing Act 2022.
The successful applicant will:
Will champion the transition and underpin the values of the new Mental Health and Wellbeing Act 2022.
Coordinate access to training and lead local implementation of the learning and development strategy within the health service
The Victorian Government has allocated funds to support rural and regional Area Mental Health Services (AMHS) to provide incentives to attract workers to roles that are difficult to fill. The regional mental health workforce incentive grants will support the attraction, recruitment, and retention of new workers to Latrobe Regional Hospitals mental health services in regional Victoria. This role has been identified as being eligible for an incentive payment of up to $20,000 subject to eligibility and negotiation with successful candidates. This incentive may be used to reimburse rent, childcare, school fees, relocation costs and more!
