  • Full time, fixed term role available for 18 months
  • Parkville location with flexible, hybrid working
  • $108,924 – $118,898 base + salary packaging + super + 5 weeks annual leave

About the Office of the General Counsel

The Office of the General Counsel is a small team headed by the General Counsel, and is responsible for the provision and coordination of the legal and risk management services required to support the Women’s.

About the role

As the Emergency Management Emergency Management and Business Resilience Lead you will play a critical role in helping the Women’s prepare, respond and recover from any disruptive events.

Key responsibilities will see you:

  • ?Lead the development, coordination and delivery of the Women’s Business Continuity Management (BCM) Framework, Emergency Management (EM) Framework and Disaster Recovery (DR) Framework
  • Develop tools, templates and playbooks to enable the different areas of the Women’s to undertake elements of the frameworks, and build resilience to potentially disruptive events
  • Build recovery strategies for systems and align activities to the broader Women’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework

About you

You will be someone with excellent communication, interpersonal and consultative skills, including the ability to build strong, collaborative working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.

You’ll bring with you:

  • ??Knowledge or training in Emergency Management/Business Resilience and/or extensive relevant practical experience
  • Experience in training delivery and manual writing suitable to emergency management training and/or Business Resilience programs, with the ability to advise, support and coach on best practice
  • Experience in analysing and synthesising large volumes of complex information and preparing reports and recommendations for action on emergency management and business resilience to executives and boards
  • Knowledge and experience in ensuring organisational compliance with AS3745 Planning for Emergency in Facilities, AS ISO 22301 Security and resilience - Business continuity management systems
