EMR Trainer (Electronic Medical Record)

The Parkville EMR is a world-class system used by more than 15,000 clinicians across The Royal Melbourne Hospital, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, The Royal Children’s Hospital and the Royal Women’s Hospital. We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team and provide a high standard of EMR training and education to our staff at The Royal Melbourne Hospital. This is a Part Time position, working 40 hours per fortnight, based across sites.

Your new role:

  • Maintain an effective training program for all staff

  • Grow and build your knowledge in EMR Workflows

  • Contribute to organisation-wide and service/division initiatives and planning activities

  • Ensure training needs of direct reports are identified and undertaken

  • Help create a sustainable and effective training program

About You:

  • Experience or knowledge of an EMR, eHealth system or other health care clinical applications

  • The ability to confidently present to small or large groups, and effectively engage participants in training sessions

  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills

  • An enthusiastic outlook and drive to improve care using process design and technology

  • A strong belief in the need for, and benefits of an EMR
