Great opportunity for an Enrolled Nurse to join our experienced Acute Nursing team at Daylesford Hosptial. 

Daylesford Hospital has 12 Acute Beds, Nurse Led Urgent Care, 3 Dialysis Chairs and a Theatre (currently closed for renovations). Located on the site is also a 30 bed Aged Care Facility.

As an enrolled nurse within the team the successful candidate will:

  • Provide safe patient care
  • Collect accurate health information and maintain accurate healthcare documentation
  • Communicate effectively with patients and other health care team members
  • The provision of patient-centered nursing care including recognition of normal and subnormal in assessment, intervention and evaluation of individual health and functional status. The enrolled nurse monitors the impact of nursing care and maintains ongoing communication with the registered nurse.
  • Responsibilities also include providing support and comfort, assisting with activities of daily living to achieve the optimal level of indpendence and providing for emotioanl needs of individuals
  • Where state law and organsisational polcy allows, enrolled nurses may administer prescribed medications of intravenous fluids, in accordance with their educational level.

We offer Casual shifts paying award wages + 10.5% superannuation and our casual employees have the option to Salary Package

Central Highlands Rural Health (CHRH) is a rural health organisation that operates five campuses across Hepburn Shire and the Macedon Ranges in the Central Highlands of Victoria in Australia, north and north-west of Melbourne. It was formed through the voluntary amalgamation of Hepburn Health Service and Kyneton District Health on the 30th November 2019.  Each of our campuses retains the name of the township in which they are situated - Clunes Health, Creswick Health, Daylesford Health, Kyneton Health, and Trentham Health.
