About us

Technology Solutions (TS) provides a range of Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) services for the Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS). The business unit sets the strategic direction of ICT in alignment with the business direction. TS is responsible for ICT strategies, initiatives, architectures, policies, projects, applications, and infrastructure services in a multi-sourced environment.

About the role

This role is a key part of the Enterprise Platform Management team which is responsible for the end-to-end business design of key strategic internal platforms, products and tools. The team drives the future state transformation of these platforms and products from a functional and UX/CX perspective through rationalisation, simplification and consolidation of capabilities and functions that enable the delivery of value to our users.

As an Enterprise Platform Manager, you will be responsible for:  

  • Understanding the functional and operational needs of DJCS employees
  • utilizing business service design concepts, blueprints and journey maps to design and deliver services that are fit for purpose and fit for us across the varied user base
  • implementing operational support model and DevOps mode to support the Industry Engagement and Enforcement Operations (IEEO).

About you

As our ideal candidate, you will have:

  • Extensive experience in implementing operational support models and DevOps models and policies and procedures
  • strong knowledge of and demonstrated experience within a large ITIL based ICT environment with the service management practice and leading successful ICT improvement or transformation initiatives
  • knowledge of and experience in leading/utilising/participating in a range of waterfall (e.g. PRINCE2, PMBOK) iterative, incremental and agile software development methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, ScrumBan, SAFe)
    • experience with Service Desk software - ServiceNow, Jira Service Project and Confluence.
    • experience with SaaS based CRM and case management solutions such as Salesforce, Youreka, MS Dynamics and data platforms such as Power BI and AWS
    • relevant tertiary or post graduate qualification is highly desirable
    • current product owner certification, CSPO or equivalent is highly desirable
    • appropriate vocation qualifications and certifications, e.g. Project Management, Agile, Software, Platforms, Cloud, Service Management or Change Management, are highly desirable.
