Accident Compensation Conciliation Service (ACCS) is an independent statutory authority which operates in accordance with the Workplace Injury and Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013. ACCS helps resolve workers' compensation disputes in Victoria between workers and employers and/or WorkCover agents or self-insurers using the principles of Alternative Dispute Resolution. Requests for conciliation are usually brought to ACCS by the worker. Our work is important because we impact upon many people's lives, every day. We have a responsibility to ensure that strong values and a pursuit of excellence in service delivery guide us in everything we do. Our vision is to be the leading dispute resolution authority in Australia.

We are currently seeking a well-organised and flexible professional to provide high quality executive support functions for two Executive Leaders, and the ACCS Board and Committees.

The impact you'll have

Reporting to the Senior Executive Assistant, you will provide high level business assistance and executive support to both the Chief Financial Officer and the General Manager, People and Culture.

Your key priorities will include diary management, managing documentation flow and follow-up, coordination of a range of meetings and minutes, and ensuring all necessary executive support services are provided at the highest standard.

Additionally, you will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer, CFO/Board Secretary and Board Chair, providing administrative support to the Board and Committees.

About you

This role requires excellent planning and organisational skills, forward thinking and initiative, and a highly proactive manner. Your discretion and good judgement will be essential to balance multiple competing priorities, as well as confidential matters.

Along with proven experience working in a similar role - concurrently supporting multiple senior executives, you will demonstrate confidence and professionalism in interpersonal and relationship management, and the ability to engage professionally with a range of stakeholders. Previous experience supporting at Board level will be viewed favourably.

Your approachable demeanour, creative problem solving skills and positive work ethic will be an asset to you in this role.

For further information, please refer to the attached position description.

To Apply

Please submit your resume and cover letter outlining your suitability for the position by midnight, Wednesday, 23rd June 2021.

ACCS is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values the diversity of its people. Making a difference in the community, professional development opportunities, an excellent range of employee benefits and a collegiate and modern work environment are just some of the reasons the ACCS is a positive and vibrant place to work.

Only people with the right to work in Australia may apply for this position. You will be required to undergo a National Police Check as part of the recruitment process.
