We are seeking an Executive Assistant to provide a high level of comprehensive administrative support to the Executive Director, Communication & Engagement, including a range of high-level business related activities on behalf of the Division. This is a Full Time, Permanent position currently based in Doncaster.

About the role

Reporting to the Executive Director, Communication & Engagement, the responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Screening, appropriately handling and providing the initial point of contact for internal and external enquiries, correspondence and incoming mail, contacts, emails and telephone calls for the Executive Director
  • Providing timely, effective diary management by prioritising and organising meetings
  • Providing secretarial support at meetings
  • Developing appropriate systems, procedures and controls to enhance the accuracy, timeliness and presentation of work to support the Executive Director role and responsibilities
  • Fostering constructive and effective working relationships within internal and external stakeholders to support the work of the C&E Division

About you

To be considered for this position, you will possess:

  •  Extensive administration experience, including experience at senior executive management level
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A high degree of initiative and the confidence to work autonomously 
  • Effective influencing and judgement skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in typing, computerised financial information systems (Oracle), and Microsoft Office suite applications
  • Required to possess a current Victorian Driver Licence

The position is graded at AV-3. The AV grade salary range for AV- 3 position is $79,172 - $93,690 plus 10% superannuation. Salary on commencement is offered at the base of the AV grade.
