About Us

Monash Health Pathology is an integral part of Monash Health. It is the largest public provider of Pathology services in the state and currently operates 6 laboratories. The largest of these is located at the Monash Medical Centre, Clayton, with additional laboratories located at the Dandenong, Moorabbin, Casey, Victorian Heart Hospital and Wonthaggi Hospitals. There are currently 18 collection locations based within the hospital sites and community settings. Services are provided to the Public and Private sectors, and other laboratory services. You will be joining Monash Health at an exciting time as we work in partnership with Alfred Health to be the premier shared public pathology service in Victoria.  As a member of the pathology team you will be helping shape the direction of the partnership.

About the Role

The Executive Assistant for Pathology works as part of the Pathology Operations team to provide a high level of administration support to the General Manager, Program Director, Operations Manager and Leadership team. The role supports the day to day function of the Pathology Operations Office. Assists and supports the General Manager and Program Director in all areas including, clerical duties, budget control, invoice monitoring and payment and personnel management as required. The Executive Assistant has the ability to function effectively as both an individual and a team member, they have excellent communication skills, first rate customer service focus and the ability to deal with a wide variety of people on various issues.

About You

The successful applicant will have a professional, customer-oriented approach with excellent presentation and well-developed organisational and interpersonal skills with attention to detail. Previous experience in a secretarial/administrative/executive assistant role is essential.
