The Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions (DJPR) is seeking to appoint an Executive Director, COVID-19 Coordination, to lead the development of state-wide strategy and preparedness policy on Covid-19 recovery priority areas, as well as ensure key senior stakeholders, including the Secretary, ministers and senior executives are supported with timely and high-quality advice and reports on a range of COVID-19 matters, coordinating inputs and perspectives across the department.

Reporting to the Deputy Secretary, Industry Coordination and Recovery, you will work across the Industry Recovery and Coordination Group and other parts of the department to resolve cross-portfolio issues. As Executive Director, you will liaise with senior internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating a proven track record of influence and negotiation.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Secretary and the department's senior executives to tackle some of the critical challenges facing the State, ensuring the department's response to COVID-19 is timely, strategic and coordinated.

The branch comprises dynamic and agile teams that are responsive to the evolving challenges in responding to COVID-19 and supporting economic recovery. Key functions include delivering strategic projects, as well as policy development and guidance.
