What You Will Be Doing

Peninsula Health currently has an opportunity for an experienced Facilities Maintenance Officer to join the team at Facilities Management Department.
The Facilities Maintenance Officer is responsible for a range of duties that contribute to the management of Engineering projects, maintenance and management systems across Peninsula Health which maintains a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the design and installation of authorised minor works
• Assist Facilities Management Department with implementation of large infrastructure works
• Coordinate all general maintenance and service within your area of responsibility in a timely and cost effective manner.
• Oversee the day to day maintenance of the fire control system within your area of responsibility
• Coordinate the development and maintain the Energy Management plan
• Ensure all engineering duties met regulatory standards i.e. OHS, Fire safety and Building Act etc.

What You Need

We anticipate you will have:
• Academic Qualifications – Tertiary qualification in mechanical, electrical engineering or building services and/or Trade qualification.
• Min 5 years’ experience in Facilities Management.
• Experience in the coordination of infrastructure project works (minor and capital)
