The Team

The position of Facility and Operations Manager (Tatura) forms a part of the Agriculture Victoria Group and Business and Finance Services Branch.

Agriculture Victoria works with industry and community stakeholders to support the agriculture, food and fibre sector to become more globally competitive, innovative and resilient. The Business and Finance Services (BFS) branch in Agriculture Victoria provides centralised advice and support to the Agriculture Victoria Executive team, including strategic finance, risk and business analysis; people strategy; planning and business reporting; and audit coordination.

The Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager East, you will manage the delivery of a comprehensive range of property, facilities, and operational services across the metro and regional sites of the Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions, but particularly focused on sites occupied by Agriculture Victoria.

The key accountabilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage the maintenance of a range of buildings, structures and associated facility infrastructure across multifunctional sites
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders
  • Manage Business Operations projects and contracts

About You

The position requires a motivated self-starter who is able to build and maintain good working relationships within the department and its' relevant agencies, as well as managing several projects or programs of work from inception through to completion.
