The Department of Justice and Community Safety (the department) is seeking a Finance Manager to provide a critical role at Hume Corporate Services.
About the business unit
The Hume region delivers a range of services through Justice Service Centres at Wangaratta, Shepparton, Seymour and Wodonga and at outreach locations in Myrtleford, Benalla, Cobram, Mansfield and Corryong. The region also has two prisons, the minimum-security Beechworth Correctional Centre and H.M. Prison Dhurringile.
Corporate Services is responsible for providing the region with a range of corporate support functions including human resources, finance and procurement, planning and reporting, administration and workforce development.
About the role
Reporting to the General Manager Corporate Services, the Finance Manager is responsible for leading and managing a team in the effective delivery of and provide advice on a range of financial, accounting, budget, procurement and administrative support services for the Hume Region. This position will also monitor the financial performance of the Hume Region and oversee and undertake financial reconciliation, reporting and analysis, including preparation of monthly and ad-hoc reports.
