We are looking for an experienced Front End Web Developer to join our Single Digital Presence (SDP) team and help create streamlined, intuitive and flexible digital experiences for Victorians.

SDP is the Victorian Government's publishing platform, built for government by government. SDP's aim is to consolidate government websites and make it easier to find, understand and use Victorian government information. To do this, SDP is transforming DPC's suite of digital services by migrating to a headless Drupal 8 platform with a Vue.JS front end. 

This role will work closely with stakeholders to provide support for highly visible websites such as vic.gov.au and coronavirus.vic.gov.au, amongst many others.

About You

As our ideal candidate you will:

  • have experience with core web technologies such as: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, including CSS pre-processors such as SCSS (preferred)
  • have experience or knowledge of component based javascript frameworks such React, Angular, Vue (preferred)
  • be able to creatively solve problems and adapt easily to changing circumstances
  • have excellent stakeholder management skills, be able to easily engage with, advice and guide across a varied stakeholder base
  • have a genuine passion for technology and design.
