The opportunity

The Office of the CEO is responsible for the strategic management and coordination of our relationships with the SV Board, Minister's office and broader portfolio.  The team also provides executive support to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team. 

The Government Liaison Lead manages SV's relationship with the Minister's Office (other than media), by providing high quality and timely advice.  The role coordinates internal processes for Ministerial briefings and correspondence. The position contributes to strategic, reputational and policy matters. This role maintains relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including Ministerial Advisers, the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) and SV's CEO and Executive Leadership Team.

About you

This role will suit a high performing individual experienced in government writing, including the ability to communicate complex information, develop high level briefs and general correspondence. A skilled negotiator with highly developed interpersonal skills you will be confident in your ability to engage with internal staff, senior executives, Ministerial Policy Advisers and external stakeholders across all areas of government with discretion, integrity and professionalism
