ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are pleased to offer a Grade 1 Occupational Therapy opportunity to join Mercy Mental Health. This role would suit new graduates or those with less than two years of experience. The successful applicant will benefit from our Graduate Program that allows time to consolidate learning in a supported environment. We believe in providing graduates with ongoing support and quality feedback to help them develop their skills, confidence and work towards individual learning goals.
This position is for a 12-month contract (with ample opportunities to become permanent across a range of different teams) and will be based in a community mental health team, such as Wyndham Clinic or Community Plus. This is a structured program with a comprehensive orientation, paid professional development days, discipline specific clinical supervision and reflective practice sessions.

Mercy Mental Health (South West Area Mental Health Service) is a public mental health service supporting people in south west metropolitan Melbourne with severe and complex mental illnesses by providing acute and community-based care. Services are available to adults through acute inpatient programs, residential rehabilitation programs and crisis and community recovery-focused treatment programs. We also deliver inpatient and community specialist perinatal mental health services to women and infants in western Victoria.
