Grade 1 Scientist - Microbiology

We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Microbiology team. This is a 18 months temporary Grade 1 Full-time Scientist position working in the Microbiology Department.
Your Opportunity:
- Work in all areas of the microbiology department including bacteriology, serology and molecular biology
- Perform tests within MHSPS Labs
- Participation in weekend, evening and night shift
About You:
- Experience in a clinical diagnostic Microbiology laboratory
- Experience in Molecular Microbiology - Desirable
- Recognised scientific training and competence relevant to the position including appropriate knowledge and experience in quality systems, information technology and relevant
- Analytical methods and techniques of diagnostic microbiology
- Professional approach to patient care, confidentiality and efficient provision of pathology services
- Ability to work within a team
- Proven ability to work cooperatively with pathologists, clinicians and senior scientists
