An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and highly experienced Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join  Mellor Ward.

 Mellor Ward is a 35 bed inpatient ward which provides intensive rehabilitation for patients from Austin Health and the broader community. Mellor offers an expert rehabilitation service to people following neurologigal events, orthopaedic surgert, amputation, liver transplantation and long ICU admission. The Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Centre, part of Austin Health, is based in Kew. Nursing staff on Mellor work closely with the multidisciplinary team.

The Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) is recognised as a clinical leader within the nursing team. The role forms part of the Mellor Unit leadership group, and works as a delegate of the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) to model the core values of Austin Health through effective leadership and management of the clinical nursing and support staff within the Mellor Unit.

To be successful in this role you must have well developed clinical skills, a commitment to rehabilitation nursing and a desire for ongoing improvement.
