About the Opportunity

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join the Racing Operations team.

The primary purpose of the role is to deliver the optimal Racing Calendar to the Greyhound Racing industry across the year on behalf of GRV.

The role of Race Meeting Coordinator & Grader is responsible for reviewing nominations, finalising race fields, and maintaining and updating the grading of all racing greyhounds, in addition to maintaining the greyhound racing calendar with adjustments which can be made up to and including race day.

At times the position involves being on call during weekends and travel to racing venues across Victoria. 

About You

We are seeking candidates who has:

• demonstrated interpersonal and customer service skills
• experience in coordinating work and maintain professional under pressure
• Previous experience in the racing industry or a strong passion 
• a strong appreciation of the importance of rules and regulations
• a good understanding of the racing industry (desirable)
• sound MS Office skills and the ability to prepare standard reports
