About the facility
Barwon Health’s Central Resource Unit (CRU) provides emergent and non-emergent nursing staff replacement for all bed based services. We provide staffing resources to meet every day operational needs of clinical units for nursing and support staff for bed based units across Barwon Health. Health care workers will work across two campuses, The University Hospital Geelong and the McKellar Centre.
About the role
We are currently recruiting Health Care Workers (HCW) at Barwon Health in response to a high demand. If you currently hold a certificate III in individual support ‘age care’ we would love to hear from you.
As a HCW you will work under the direction of the Registered Nurse to provide holistic patient centred care. This role is variable and may involve supporting the nursing workload by providing basic nursing care to those people who need it, such as those experiencing difficulty with cognition.
About the culture
We are a highly functioning, dynamic but supportive team who provide an organisation wide response. We promote professional development in the workplace and as a team are focused on quality patient centred care.
