An exciting opportunity currently exists for enthusiastic Medical Practitioners to join our Junior Medical Workforce as a HMO3+ in our General Stream in 2022.


Details of position/position requirements


HMO's in the General Stream at Austin Health are able to complete a variety of rotations, including Emergency Medicine, General Medicine, Intensive Care medicine and Rehabilitation medicine. We also are able to offer six month rotations in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Mercy Hospital for Women. Those who have previously undertaken the HMO3 General stream have continued on to complete training in general practice, obstetrics and gynaecology as well as Paediatric medicine.


To be successful in this role you must:



  • Be registered (or able to be registered) with AHPRA,

  • Be dedicated to delivering excellent patient care, and

  • Dedicated to teaching, training and team work.
