The BRHS Medical Department provides services across a broad spectrum of care, including a newly built Medical/Surgical ward containing 34 beds, 2 bariatric beds and a 4 bed High Dependency Unit.  The unit provides care for a large spectrum of medical conditions and post-operative care for gynaecology, urology, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, ENT and general surgery patients.  The ward has facilities for cardiac monitoring via both mobile telemetry units and fixed monitors.  In this role you will provide high quality assessment and care to inpatients with the direction and support of the staff Physicians.       

Our Medical team at BRHS is expanding and we are looking for HMO's who are keen to progress their Medical Career.  If you have at least 3 years of postgraduate experience in clinical medicine, including extensive experience in General and/or Internal Medicine setting (Preferably in Australia), we would like to hear from you.   Applicants are required to have General Registration or eligibility for provisional medical registration with minimum level 3 supervision.

Caring for a broad range of low and high acuity medical patients in conjunction with the multidisciplinary health team, you will in a supportive environment.  Tthis role will provide you with the perfect platform to develop your skills and also enjoy a fantastic work/life balance in the stunning Gippsland Lakes area.   

 This role will provide you with the opportunity to enjoy:
