ICT Manager

Permanent Full Time – 76 hours per fortnight

Classification: Administration Assistant Grade 5 – Grade 6 (HS5 – HS6), depending on qualifications and experience

Award: Victorian Public Health Sector (Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers) Single Interest Enterprise Agreement 2021 - 2025

An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably qualified individual to join the team at MDHS, working as the ICT Manager in a permanent Full Time position! In this role, you will lead the Information Communication & Technology functions in collaboration with our ICT contract partners to provide flexible and responsible support and proactive management of our internal and hosted solutions to ensure end users have seamless and reliable systems.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

Essential

Qualifications:

  • Prince 2, ITIL or project management certification.
  • An advanced Certificate in Information Technology or University Degree in a subject encompassing Information Technology.

Technical/Professional Knowledge and skills

  • Extensive experience leading organisational ICT services with specific accountability for IT service delivery, governance, cyber risk management and project management.
  • Demonstrated experiencing performing systems administration and implementation of mobile device technologies (SOTI, AIME Advanced, Imprivata) within a highly complex environment.
  • High level knowledge and experience in supporting level 1-3 ICT support teams (helpdesk, desktop support and servers and infrastructure) and acting as an escalation point for issues outside of the remit of Level 1.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Exchange, Teams, etc) technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service capabilities with the ability to troubleshoot methodically and escalate incidents when appropriate to meet business SLA objectives.
  • Strong organisational skills, including the ability to effectively manage, coordinate and prioritise tasks.
  • Strong time management skills, including the ability to create a project timeline and maintain those deadlines throughout the project lifecycle.

Desirable

  • Previous experience in a health related setting.
