About the role
Our Information Communications and Technology (ICT) Department is undertaking a major recruitment drive to extend the department’s capability to support the increasing requirements of our health service. We are seeking highly skilled and dynamic ICT specialists to join us in a variety of roles to deliver core processes, manage operations and projects, and mitigate cyber security risks.
The ICT project manager role has the overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of Eastern Health projects. This role is mainly focused on project managing cyber security initiatives and major clinical systems implementation. The project manager provides leadership to help manage their projects and project teams effectively. The ICT project Manager will be responsible for the development and execution of technology components of projects aligned with our organisational priorities. This includes the development of project artefacts including program and project plans, budgets, schedules and status reports, along with providing project leadership to cross-functional teams to ensure project delivery against time, cost and objectives.
