About the role

We have permanent full- and part-time roles available for experienced Critical Care Registered Nurses who want to join our Intensive Care team. Eastern Health Intensive Care Services is comprised of three ICUs:

Each ICU provides high level care to patients within a multidisciplinary teaching hospital environment. Much of the care we provide supports patients with severe illnesses and the need for complex procedures, requiring complex surgical recovery, artificial ventilation and other forms of life support.

As a member of our ICU team, you’ll be joining a highly dedicated multi-disciplinary team incorporating medical, nursing, clerical and allied health professionals. About you 

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have current nursing registration with AHPRA
  • Hold a post graduate qualification in Critical Care
  • Have excellent knowledge of best practice in intensive care nursing
  • Be passionate about providing patient centred care
  • Have demonstrated clinical leadership experience and skills with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Be highly accountable and display a supportive and engaging style
