About the role

The Lilydale Community Team is a multi-disciplinary Infant Child and Youth Mental Health Team located at Yarra Ranges Health in Lilydale.  The team provides comprehensive and high quality mental health assessment and intervention for young people and their families, residing in the outer eastern region. You would join a friendly, dynamic and growing team who work collaboratively with their clients, families and other organisations.

As a senior clinician you would undertake a key senior clinical role within the team, supporting the Team Leader and Consultant Psychiatrist in providing consistent and effective clinical and operational leadership, providing advanced mental health care to young people aged between 0 and 25 years. As the workforce grows, senior clinical staff support the development of newer clinicians through joint clinical work and discipline specific supervision.

About you

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Hold relevant qualifications in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Psychology or Nursing with appropriate registration through the Australian Health Practitioners registration Agency (AHPRA) and/or other relevant registration boards.
  • At least 5 years of experience in your relevant field or proven experience in the mental health field.
  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
