About the Role
To efficiently and effectively receive, decontaminate, assemble, sterilise and package reusable medical devices at the highest standard working autonomously. In addition, transporting of reusable medical devices throughout the hospital, Instrument technician endeavour to provide efficient, optimum quality, safe and professional services to patients and stakeholders in a patient focused environment through effective and committed teamwork in a safe working environment.
About You
Holds a certificate III in sterilisation services or equivalent qualification awarded by a registered training organisation, recognised by the employer as such and has greater than 3 years’ experience as an instrument technician (full time equivalent)
Is able to work in all areas of the department including endoscopy and loan as rostered with a high degree of autonomy and accountability. Is able to work any shift on a rotating roster.
