Selection Criteria

  1. Demonstrated experience working as a laboratory technician and in the management of laboratory resources
  2. Ability to prepare experiments, conduct training and/or instruction in respect to scientific processes
  3. Demonstrated ability to support staff and students in the science laboratory
  4. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation & safety codes (e.g. safety, storage & disposal of dangerous goods and hazardous materials), guidelines and procedures (OHS, first aid  & risk assessments)
  5. Knowledge of laboratory first aid treatment and procedures for risk assessment within the relative work area
