LEVEL CROSSING REMOVAL PROJECT
About the role
We're not just about removing – we're building, we're connecting, we're revitalising communities all across Melbourne. As one of Victoria's largest rail infrastructure projects in the state's history the team at LXRP are busier than ever, that's why we are looking for a Land and Property Adviser to join our North-West team.
As a Land and Property Adviser, you will be responsible for supporting the facilitation and management of all matters relating to the identification, leasing and management of property matters and where necessary, disposal and acquisition of land for project purposes. The role will allow you to collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders such as VicTrack, VicRoads, Department of Transport, Department of Treasury and Finance, Valuer General Victoria, Victorian Government Land Monitor, Local Government and more.
Whilst no day is the same in the Land and Property Adviser role, some of the tasks include:
The Land and Property Adviser position offers a 3-year fixed term contract, paying between $102,637 and $124,183 + super. LXRP fully supports the new hybrid way of life, with flexible working arrangements on offer for those who enjoy working from both the office, based in the CBD and from home.
About you
We are interested in people with experience in a range of land and property related disciplines such as property valuation, land planning, conveyancing, land and asset management, property surveying or government land processes. Experience in managing land and property issues within a major project environment, including private and Crown land is considered highly desirable, but not mandatory.
You MUST be confident in your ability to work autonomously, have demonstrated experience taking initiative in project work and understand the importance of building meaningful relationships with relevant stakeholders. Exposure utilising or understanding the project delivery powers under Major Transport Projects Facilitation Act 2009 is a huge advantage.
Let's get technical! What will we expect from you?
We are looking for individuals who have a strong sense of purpose in helping the LXRP team deliver on transforming the way Victorians live, work and travel.
About us
At LXRP, we're not just removing level crossings, we are removing barriers and creating legacies for our communities for years to come. Inclusion is a priority for us, and we are committed to creating an employee community that reflects those in which we work.
What next?
If we've sparked your interest, introduce yourself by submitting a cover letter and CV via the ‘apply now' link. Tell us why you're interested and what capability you bring. That's enough, we do not need you to provide key selection criteria! We use assessment tools such as phone screens and behavioural interviews to determine your suitability for the position.
