About the role

An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Consultant Psychiatrist to work Full Time at Eastern Health leading a number of Clinical Teams as part of our Adult Mental Health Community Services. 

 Working in a dual governance leadership with the Service Manager, BIT & HOPE , the Clinical Lead Consultant is responsible for providing leadership, management, development, implementation and delivery of high quality adult community mental health care across community clinical teams to ensure that Eastern Health meets legislative requirements and health service agreements negotiated with the Department of Health  as well as implementing the strategic initiatives and service improvements in the clinical stream.

The successful applicant will be supported to participate in further education, including professional development as well as training and education for senior and junior medical staff and other disciplines across the interdisciplinary team.

About you 

Applicants must be registered with the Medical Board of Australia and be a Fellow of the RANZCP.

This is an exciting newly created position as part of growth in our Adult Mental Health Community Clinical Service Stream. The incumbent will provide clinical leadership for a number of clinical teams across the Eastern Health Adult Community Mental Health Service
