  • Opportunity for a mental health clinician to join our team in the beautiful town of Echuca on the banks of the Murray River.

  • Travel arrangements and financial support negotiable for the successful applicant to make the transition.

  • Successful applicant will have the opportunity to work across both Bendigo and Echuca sites.

  • 2 year retention bonus negotiable with successful applicant.




Mental Health Lead Clinician


Classification: Registered Nurse (Grade 3), Social Worker (Grade 2) or Occupational Therapist (Grade 2)

Salary:
 $41 to $51 per hour plus superannuation dependent upon classification and experience.


Hours: Full time or part time can be negotiated.


Status: Permanent



About the Role

You will:



  • Make a difference to young people and their families with mental health challenges

  • Join a friendly and supportive team of multi-disciplinary professionals

  • Treat and support patients by providing psychiatric triage, intake, assessment, treatments and short-term interventions

  • Provide psycho-education and therapy for patients of Psychiatric Services and their families/carers

  • Formulate, monitor and maintain an Individual Service Plan for each patient in consultation with clients, families, carers and members of your team



About the Team


Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) is a community based, multidisciplinary team that works with children and adolescents 0 - 18 years who are displaying serious emotional, relationship, personal care or behavioural disturbances that impact on family and social relationships and/or their functioning in school or the workplace.
