About the role

The Learning and Development Facilitator sits within the Legal, Operational Policy and Community Partnerships Portfolio. This portfolio is a centre of integrated capability which leads strategic projects and initiatives, policy development, legislative reform, communication, culturally sensitive services and community partnerships. The learning and development function enables the development of capable and confident employees.

This role is responsible for working collaboratively across BDM and Adoptions Services (AS) to design, develop, facilitate and coach learning and development outcomes in accordance with the organisational capability development strategy and identified needs.

  • The ability to interact with participants and stakeholders to build a positive workplace culture and learning environment.
  • Well-spoken and captivating, with the ability to deliver face to face adult training and coaching sessions.
  • The ability to research, understand and develop adult learning materials and experiences to achieve business goals
  • Enthusiasm and resilience, with the ability to work collaboratively with various staff
