The Country Fire Authority (CFA) is one of the world's largest, and most highly regarded, community-based emergency services organisations. We respond to fire and other emergencies 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Whilst our firefighters are the cornerstone of CFA services, what goes on behind the scenes is just as important in helping to protect lives and property.

About the Role:

The CFA Training Team ensures Training Delivery and Performance priorities are delivered across CFA. The team also contributes to the development and implementation of State-wide learning initiatives.

The Learning Systems Coordinator contributes to the management and support of learning systems and processes across CFA related to the use, functionality, ongoing maintenance and testing of the Learning Management System (LMS).

This role is also responsibile for engaging with members and key stakeholders to provide subject matter expertise and to ensure system service continuity and appropriate use of the Learning Hub across the organisation.

Whilst your primary work location is the CFA Headquarters in Burwood East, there is flexibility to work remote 2 to 3 days a week.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent and/or relevant industry experience.
  • Experience in database management and configuration, preferably a contemporary LMS.
  • Proven analytical/problem solving skills with the ability to deliver numerous concurrent projects within quality and time parameters.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop reports & correspondence.
  • Experience conveying training information and objectives to internal & external customers.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to successfully manage and influence stakeholder relationships and engagement.
