What You Will Be DoingWe are looking for Legal Counsel to join our supportive and well-established team, with the option to work full time or part time for the right candidate. As Legal Counsel reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, you will provide legal advice and services to the organisation on a broad range of legal issues, including commercial agreements, contracts, construction, property, privacy, data protection and, of course, health law. You will also have strong inter-personal skills as well as a pragmatic approach to enable effective management of legal issues and communication with stakeholders.
What You NeedWe anticipate you will have:• Admission as an Australian Legal Practitioner and hold a current Practicing Certificate• Several years post admission experience in providing legal advice on commercial arrangements, procurement contracts, leasing and service agreements.• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate legal issues and recommended actions in Plain English
