MHS in Port Fairy are looking for a qualified Lifestyle & Leisure Assistant/Activities Officer to join our Community Health team on an ongoing Part Time basis (16 hours per week).

About the Role

As a Leisure & Lifestyle Assistant at Moyne Health Services, you will support the group coordinator to deliver an activities program designed in partnership with group attendees.

Programs may be delivered on site or in community settings at our Koroit and/or Port Fairy sites. Transporting clients to and from the centre and various activities are an important part of the role. During these activities it is recognised that clients of varying abilities may be participating and varying levels of support may be required to provide an inclusive and welcoming environment.

About You

To be successful in this role you must meet the following criteria:

• Certificate IV Lifestyle & Health or Equivalent OR working towards this qualification
• Certificate in Food Handling
• Ability to be self-directed, motivated and to manage time effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Computer literacy
