WHO ARE WE?

VicScreen (formerly Film Victoria) is Victoria's creative and economic screen development agency.

We're behind the scenes, supporting screen businesses, infrastructure, festivals and events. Helping develop the skilled practitioners, professional crew and talented creatives that elevate Victoria as a global screen destination.

The must-watch shows. The biggest releases. The next big names. The hottest games. From silver screen to live stream, and across the screen ecosystem. You'll find us where the action is.

Our Values

Be Open; Be Brave: Be Collaborative; Be Excellent; Be Energetic.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

VicScreen is entering an exciting new chapter. We're looking for a Location Resources Officer to join us for the ride in this ongoing role. Reporting to the Production Support and Engagement Coordinator, the Location Resources Officer supports, maintains and manages all specialist tools and technology for the Production Support team. You'll also manage and maintain locations content and information across the customized databases.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

You're organised, tech savvy and a born communicator.  Working behind the scenes you make sure that information on Victorian locations is available, current and close at hand.  The information and images you coordinate are essential to attracting and supporting local, national and international screen productions.

  • Experience: An accomplished administrator, you are super organised and confident with systems and processes. You have dynamic interpersonal skills and are always ready to develop key relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.  Your knowledge of Victorian locations allows you to visualise the perfect site for film or television production.
  • Tech know-how: A systems pro, you've worked with image databases, AV equipment (e.g., still cameras) and image editing software.  You'll know your way around a variety of software packages including Website CMS (e.g., Expression Engine) and Content Manager (or other records management systems).
  • Energy: Your unfakeable enthusiasm for all things screen drives you to deliver quality client services – day-in, day-out.
