Our Lady Mercy Place Harris Park is opening in the first half of 2023. We are seeking a Maintenance Officer who will be heavily involved in the final building commissioning phase and ongoing maintenance requirements once the home is officially open.
As an ageing community, it is becoming increasingly difficult to care for the sick and frail at home. The newly developed site, Our Lady Mercy Place Harris Park will enable us to better care for and support our seniors and to keep them close within the community, near to their families, their people and their church.
As the Maintenance Officer you will be responsible for the on-going repairs and preventative maintenance of building, plant, equipment and furniture. You will assist with identifying and actioning health and safety issues to provide a safe environment for residents, staff and visitors.
You will be an active leader of the home and community where communication is valued and continuous improvement is promoted in accordance with accreditation and aged care standards.
You will lead a culture that promotes positivity and safety while delivering our Model of Care that focuses on the individual emotional and physical needs of the resident.
This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Officer to play a key role in supporting our elderly, their families, our staff and the community.
