Management Accountant (Public Health Unit)


Latrobe Regional Hospital have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Management Accountant (Public Health Unit) to join the Finance team.


Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role provides a high level of accounting and technical expertise at Latrobe Regional Hospital for the Public Health Unit.


Responsibilities include:



  • Public Health Unit & COVID-19 accounting and reporting functions

  • Develop and maintain the Public Health Unit & COVID-19 program budgets

  • Prepare monthly reports for internal and external stakeholders

  • Supporting the business through consolidated analytics, insights, gap analysis and commentary for management reporting to support the delivery of business targets and initiatives

  • Provide financial solutions and other adhoc tasks required by the Finance Manager


The successful candidate will have:



  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business or equivalent

  • Chartered Accountant or CPA highly regarded

  • Experience working in a similar finance role

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • FMIS Oracle and Powerbudget experience preferred
