About the Role:

The Manager Community Engagement leads a team of professionals responsible for designing CFA's community engagement and education programs and building CFA's capability and capacity in a time of significant change.

The scope of the role is wide-ranging and complex, and encompasses a range of functions, from strategic policy development through to oversight of program design, development of engagement tools and resources, and analysis of best-practice research to inform an evidence-driven approach to community engagement.

To achieve the desired outcomes this position is required to engage, influence, and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders. You will work closely with CFA's leadership team to drive change in service delivery and ensure desired community safety outcomes are achieved.

About You:

You will have program and business management qualifications and experience and bring significant experience in leading high-performance teams. Demonstrated experience in the management and leadership of community engagement within a large and complex service delivery environment is essential. Evidence of your success in driving change by applying broad influencing skills to overcome barriers and gain support is key to this role. Furthermore, you will display the ability to develop and maintain strong, collaborative partnerships and manage people with a consultative/collaborative leadership style. Important to this role is your project management experience in a rapidly changing environment and capability in managing organisational and culture change, business practice reform and productivity improvement.
