Manager, Engagement Strategy & Coordination

  • $125,893 - $168,473 (Plus Superannuation)
  • Fixed Term to 30 June 2024

Reporting to the Director, Secure Work Pilot, you will lead the stakeholder engagement, including strategy development, relationship management, and ongoing engagement to support the Secure Work Pilot.

The Secure Work Pilot aims to improve economic security for many Victorian workers who don't have access to sick and carers pay.  Consultation on the design of the pilot scheme will involve workers, industry and unions.  This Pilot will consider and work through issues including economic impacts, eligibility, payment pathways, and protections for workers who apply to access the scheme.

The accountabilities of the role include:

  • Manage a small team to lead the strategy, planning and execution for stakeholder, industry, and community engagement and consultation, for all aspects of the Secure Work Pilot.
  • Provide engagement intelligence on emerging issues, developing strategic advice and support on priority engagement initiatives, reputational risks, and new and changing engagement priorities.
  • Manage the engagement coordination aspects of the Secure Work Pilot Scheme.
  • Working closely to support the Director on priorities.
  • Prepare a wide range of materials to support Executives.

The position of Manager, Engagement Strategy & Coordination forms a part of the Jobs Victoria branch within the Employment and Inclusion group.
