Position Summary:
The Manager Marketing, Insights and Analytics is a new role in Strategic Communications and Marketing and will lead the establishment of a new insights function for the branch.
The Manager Marketing, Insights and Analytics is responsible for helping staff across the branch to access and understand audience and stakeholder behaviour and trends, so they more deeply understand audience and stakeholder characteristics and can use these insights to improve the effectiveness of strategic and tactical communications, marketing and engagement efforts.
The role leads a team inclusive of insights, analytics and customer experience roles to drive improved accessibility and availability of audience and stakeholder insights that can be used to improve customer experience and outcomes.
It achieves this by working with other insights and analytics teams to turn data, and insights from multiple sources into communications and engagement insights. Within the branch, the role works closely with the digital, social and creative teams to inform and improve customer experience and engagement.
To enable this, the role will lead the establishment of a new stakeholder survey to capture baseline stakeholder satisfaction and maintenance of stakeholder satisfaction and audience sentiment datasets.
This role may also be required to provide support to other teams across the Branch, including participating in out of hours rosters, providing support for public emergencies, large-scale communications campaigns and other high priority projects.
