An ongoing opportunity is available in the South Eastern Victoria (SEV) Regional Engagement team, based in

As the Manager of a team of three, you will join a hard-working, experienced, and skilled group of people who are
committed to ensuring that vulnerable learners have access to quality pre-accredited training opportunities and
employment pathways.

As one of four teams across the State, the SEV Regional Engagement team facilitates Ministerial, Adult Community
and Further Education (ACFE) Board, and other government initiatives in the region, by working with Learn Local
organisations, training providers, business, industry, and community stakeholders to understand skill requirements
and co-design local solutions.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Effective program implementation and management
  • Responsive, innovative, and collaborative solutions that address the training needs of individuals, employers, and the community
  • Place-based connections between training providers and their local communities and industries
  • Effective Regional Council executive support
  • Timely and strategic advice to the ACFE Board, Department of Education and Training and across government.

The successful applicant will be flexible, resilient, and motivated to manage the team's contribution to achieving
the objectives of the Ministerial Statement on the Future of Adult Community Education In Victoria 2020-25 and
the ACFE Board Strategy 2020-25, and other government initiatives. Prior experience in the education and training
sector is highly desirable.
