The Manager Workforce Strategy and Culture is a key leadership position that will develop and implement Solar Victoria's workforce strategy. The successful candidate will ensure Solar Victoria has the workforce, culture and capability it needs to be successful, across the life of its programs. Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team and Solar Victoria people leaders, the successful candidate will provide human resources, organisational and leadership development expertise, coupled with strategic advice. The successful candidate will manage a diverse range of programs, services, issues and relationships to support delivery of Solar Victoria's objectives.

Reporting to the Director, Office of the CEO, the position collaborates with DELWP's People and Culture division and leads a small multi-disciplinary team to deliver employee programs and services. The successful candidate will also work closely with the Customer Experience Division and change management function to ensure alignment.

The Manager Workforce Strategy and Culture will play a key role in ensuring the successful transition to Solar Victoria's new headquarters in Morwell from 2021.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • Significant experience in HR, business improvement and/or organisational development
  • Knowledge of Victorian Public Sector policies and frameworks
  • Experience managing and/or facilitating teams
  • Qualifications/certifications in Human Resources Management are desirable. 

This is a fixed term position available for a period of 2 years.
