About the role
LXRP's Commercial and Legal team continue to grow and drive successful outcomes and as a result we have a brand new opportunity as the Managing Principal Lawyer (Land & Property Specialist) on offer. Reporting into the Director, Legal, you will be responsible for providing expert legal, commercial and risk management advice specific to land and property matters across all of the Level Crossing Removal Project. This is a 3-year fixed term position, paying a salary between $173,134 and $235,465 + superannuation. LXRP fully supports the new hybrid way of life and envision this role as a weekly blend of CBD office and working from home. We strive for the perfect work/life balance, welcoming 0.8FTE for those looking for a part-time opportunity.
About you
You will have prior experience providing quality land and property specific legal advice within a transport or major infrastructure environment. You'll be confident in your legislative knowledge, with exposure to complex rights of access, rights to perform works and rights to purchase land experience.
Furthermore, you're a professional problem solver – you're able to tackle a task autonomously, whilst contributing to the overall team and department goals. You are someone that will take it upon themselves to meet new people, build your network, and foster ongoing relationships with key stakeholders.
