Position Summary:

Project and Relationship Lead – System Strengthening and Innovation

The landmark Victorian Government Royal Commission into Victoria's Mental Health System represents a significant opportunity for system-wide reform that will require whole-of-government strategic responses.  The Royal Commission released its interim report in November 2019, which included a recommendation for government to establish an administrative office to implement the Royal Commission's recommendations.

Reporting to the Director of Strategy and Implementation, the Project and Relationship Lead – System Strengthening and Innovation is responsible for the strategic oversight of new initiatives that places people with lived experience at the forefront of the design and delivery of mental health services.  Leading a small team, the role requires strong people management, stakeholder management and program oversight, and the ability to draw out emerging risks, opportunities and interdependencies across related streams of work.
