About the role Working directly with the Clinical Director and Associate Program Director as well as other senior medical staff and managers, an outstanding opportunity exists for a passionate and highly motivated senior manager, with expert clinical knowledge and management experience, to step the senior leadership team within the Adult Mental & Wellbeing program. The Maroondah service manager is responsible for the effective leadership, development and operational management of the Maroondah Adult Mental Health Access service - Emergency Department Response, Mental Health and Police Response and Crisis Assessment and Treatment services. They lead and develop a skilled multidisciplinary team to ensure the services delivered are effective, efficient, accountable, agile and of the highest quality. |
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
• Masters qualification in a related field
•Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
•A strong commitment to high quality care
•The ability to work as part of a diverse team
•Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Minimum of 10 years varied experience as a Senior Clinician in the area of mental health with demonstrated ability to work with diverse and complex clinical presentations
• Extensive clinical experience in the mental health sector and sound knowledge of the relevant legislation pertaining to Adult Mental Health including the Mental Health Act Vic 2014 and its associated principles
