About Monash Imaging

Monash Imaging is Victoria’s largest public radiology provider dedicated to providing patient focussed services to the people of South East Melbourne and surrounding communities.  Monash Imaging has hospital sites at Clayton (including Monash Children’s), Dandenong, Moorabbin, Casey, Kingston and two Dental Imaging practices.  Included at these sites are a full range of modalities including MRI, PET/CT, X-ray, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, Mammography, CT, Interventional Angiography, Nuclear Medicine and Bone Densitometry.

About the Role

You will:

  • be rostered through general radiography, including mobiles, theatre, fluoroscopy, mammography (if suitable) and CT 
  • participate in the department on call and shift roster as required
  • ensure that a high quality of patient care is provided at all times in line with the Monash Health iCare values
  • be supported by the Program Director of Monash Imaging and the Chief MIT. You will model the values of Monash Health and the culture of Patient and Family Centred Care.

Duties:

  • Ensure a high standard of patient care is provided at all times
  • Ensure high quality images are produced at all times
  • Work efficiently in rooms as rostered to ensure smooth operation of the service
  • Ensure safety is maintained for self, persons in your care and the department equipment
  • Ensure all cases you perform are recorded accurately on RIS/PACs
  • Advise supervisors when in need of technical support or equipment breakdowns

What we're looking for in You:

  • Strong technical skill set enabling you to work efficiently and independently
  • Demonstrated commitment and interest in radiography
  • Ability and commitment to follow our standards of excellence in imaging
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Current Victorian Radiation User licence
  • Current Police check and valid Employee Working with Children card.
