Your role in our future.

The Division of Cancer Surgery is an academically focused group of surgeons delivering surgical care to cancer patients.  Surgeons work within a multi-disciplinary environment liaising closely with colleagues in medical oncology and radiation oncology. The surgical oncology fellow will be specifically involved in the care of patients with melanoma and soft tissue sarcoma. The surgical oncology fellow will also be actively involved in ongoing clinical research.

What you can offer Peter Mac:-

• You are a suitably qualified medical practitioner registrable with AHPRA and have a General Surgery Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons or equivalent.


• With a fellowship in General Surgery, you will become a key member of the clinical team.


• You will be involved with teaching and supervision of trainees and will be actively involved in research.

Salary in line with the Doctors in Training (Victorian Public Health Sector) Enterprise Agreement commensurate with candidate experience.  Currently up to A$101,401 per annum for 53 hour fortnight, topped up with private assisting to a range between $A125,000 to $A146,000 per annum (remunerated at other hospitals).
