What You Will Be Doing The Mental Health After Hours Coordinator provides leadership to and is responsible for the overall operation and clinical management of Peninsula Health Mental Health Services after hours. This incorporates all inpatient and community services. Responsibilities include bed management, resource allocation and leadership of our team.The Mental Health After Hours Coordinator assumes the operational responsibilities of the Operations Director after hours.
What You NeedWe anticipate you will have:• Qualification and registration as a Registered Nurse, Social Worker, OT or Clinical Psychologist• (RPN only) Post graduate qualification in Mental Health or specialist undergraduate Mental Health program• Proven ability in the management of clients with a major mental illness and in the techniques of assessment, crisis intervention, counselling and psychosocial rehabilitation• Extensive and recent experience in the mental health field including acute inpatient services and/or community mental health care• Extensive leadership experience and ability to manage patient flow, staffing and incident management.
