About the role

An exciting opportunity exists to join the Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) team at Eastern Health in the role of Mental Health Clinician/case manager - Intensive Mobile Treatment Team.  This is an outstanding opportunity to contribute to an enhanced mental health service for high risk youth and their families. Working in both outreach and clinic based setting, this relatively small team delivers care in a creative and flexible way to high risk youth experiencing complex mental health problems.

About you 

To be successful in this role you should possess:

  • Current registration with AHPRA or eligibility for membership of AASW as a Social Worker.

  • Experience of working in Child and Youth mental health or related field.

  • Demonstrate skills in assessment and treatment of complex mental health issues.

  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills. 

  • A strong commitment to high quality care

  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Valid Working with Children’s Check
